June 24, 2025 — Today, American Pride Rises Network launched Ediva, a first-of-its-kind virtual civil rights advocacy tool focused exclusively on issues related to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) — including DEI policies, compliance, education and public discourse. Ediva is designed to empower individuals and institutions with accessible, reliable and values-driven information about DEI through the lens of American laws and policies.
“Ediva was created to meet this challenging and confusing moment,” said Dr. Andrea Abrams, executive director of the Defending American Values Coalition and a leader within the American Pride Rises Network. “As disinformation spreads and efforts to dismantle DEI programs grow, people deserve a trusted resource to help them understand what DEI really means — and why it matters. Ediva helps communities stay informed, empowered, and ready to protect the values that move our country forward.”
In a world where truth is becoming harder to discern, Ediva offers clarity, credibility, and conscience. Its mission is to cut through the noise and counter bad-faith attacks on DEI by offering brief, fact-based and plain-language responses to DEI related questions.
As coordinated efforts to erase DEI programs accelerate — from the elimination of affirmative action in higher education to bans on inclusive curricula and targeted attacks on workplace equity — Ediva arrives at a critical moment. This virtual civil rights advocacy tool equips pro-DEI activists, educators, business leaders, and everyday Americans with the tools and resources to understand what DEI really means, why it’s under attack, and how to protect it.
Ediva can be found on American Pride Rises’ website, aprnetwork.org, and will continually be updated to ensure accuracy and relevance as the DEI landscape continues to evolve.
